The August 9-10 graphic facilitation workshop is fully sold-out. The trainer is preparing a WIKI with information for all participants to get us started. I took a sneak-peak and found this interesting TEDx talk. It speaks to how important using visuals is in order to better retain information, comprehension and stimulate creativity. I think she is on to something. I am glad to see that the fifteen other folks who signed up for the workshop are also interested. The woman in the TEDx talk makes a wish at the end. My wish is that more people recognize the value of visuals and start using visual techniques to help all of us understand and deal with the enormous amounts of information, often complex, that we are working with everyday.
