Taking it outside

Over the last week, I have been delivering my practical KM workshops. In the spirit of KM I did an after action review at the end of each day. One of the concerns that kept coming up was the afternoon lull around 2pm. What to do to keep people energized and on task?

On the final day, the sun was shining and the answer was obvious. Taking the activity outside helped keep things fresh and re-energize the participants.

Tip: It helps to give instructions inside where there are less distractions and noise.

For those I work with, stay tuned and dress appropriately. I plan to use this tactic in my future meetings!
